Training Run Before Boston

In the books.

My view:

Didn't watch TV or listen to music for first 6 hours.  Went unusually well.

My food [sorry took these while running]:

plus 5 powerade zeros

protein chocolate shots
one muscle milk

The recovery food of choice:

cocoa pebbles, rock!

Which equals:

Happy.  Emz.

23 days and counting.

You are so so awesome. And so ready - you are going to rock Boston and then you are going to ROCK THIS RUN!

I said it on DM so hope you don't get tired of hearing it but I think you are amazing and freaking rock. Seriously!! You inspire me! Not just cause you can run 50 miles on a treadmill but because you run for a reason. You are going to rock that 24 hour tm run and I can't even begin to guess how many miles you will run in that time.
I heart you!

sick sick sick

is that a Soujourner Center sticker that covers up your digits that you peel back at the end to see watcha got?

I think this is pretty much the most incredible thing I have ever seen, watched, and glad to feel a "part of it" only if just a little thru donating. I hoope thru your recent efforts others who follow but have not yet dontaed will do so. It's seriously intimidating to run for a cause but your effort so far has been just incredibly awesome. Have a great Boston!

Nice job young lady. I did a 20 minute lactate threshold test today...so we both had really tough training days. Kinda a tie really.

You. Rock.

However, that is not news. It's just a fact.

Please tell me you are taking a few rest days between now and Boston =)

50 is a big number in anyones book, for Boston, are you going to park your car at the start and run back to get it?

or are you doing to go insane running on a road with people... when last were you on a road?

50 in one day?!

When you asked about a final long run, this is not what I had in mind - you are too funny!

I don't really know what to say. I am picturing a place 50 miles away right now and I am just shaking my head.

Why do you dare ask me for a recovery food when you already have the secret?! Cocoa Pebbles are heaven!!!!

Keep up the good work, simply amazing!
